The past 50 years, I got married and divorced. I raised two beautiful daughters by myself. I worked at Guardian Insurance Company for 15 years, I was one of the first 16 that was hired there. I lived in Florida for 3 yrs, so I could be by my only grandchild at that time, but moved back here when my daughter Kerry was expecting her first child, that was when my daughter Kelly and her family moved back as well. When I came back I went to work at Mr. Roy's Bridal again, when the store closed I started at Fox Communities Credit Union, where I have been for five years. I worked for years in the insurance departments several clinics and hospitals, in Milwaukee and Appleton. I also took care of my dad when he was dying of cancer and my mom when she had two major strokes until she passed away.
My daughter Kelly had polytheistic kidney disease and at 14 had a kidney transplant, I donated a kidney to her. Because of that we had Kelly 21 good years. She married, had a daughter, lived in Florida for 10 years, worked there as a photo journalist and when she came back to Wisconsin she worked as a photo journalist for the Fox Cities Newspapers, and was a water aerobics instructor at Club West, before she got cancer. She passed away on Easter Sunday seven years ago, 5 days after her 35th birthday. Her beautiful daughter Amanda is now 18 and is living with me. My daughter Kerry is married to a wonderful man, Tyrone Brown. Kerry is an Arbonne Sales person, and has a day care in her home. Tyrone is a hair stylist at CTI. They have four beautiful children 1 girl and 3 boys, Isabella 10 in May, Isaiah 8 yrs, Elisha 7 in June and Ezra is 4 yrs. They live in Kimberly, so I am really lucky that my grandchildren all live so close to me.
