I used to think the people at 50th reunions were old! It is great to know that isn't true any more.

My parents left Appleton in 1964 when my dad was transferred to northern California. I have seldom returned to the area and must admit that two of the visits were for burials. I'm sure much of the area will not look familiar to me. I've lived in Boulder CO, where my husband Dave is on the CU faculty, ever since we got married in 1966. I taught science and health in middle schools for nine years but most of my working life was spent doing far less stressful office work (accounting, purchasing, etc.). Haven't worked, except for doing in-home dog care, since 2001. That was also the year that we visited Susan Mary (Cotterill) in New Zealand. So glad to hear she is coming to the reunion. We have two grown married daughters. One lives in Portland OR and the other in Honolulu HI. No grandchildren. Both my husband and I are involved in choral singing. It will be fun to see our 50-years-later selves. Kudos to Jon Keckonen for all his work on the website. Hey, I only know how much work I've made for him and that is a lot! I've enjoyed seeing the messages and pictures. We live in a beautiful part of the USA. Since we have no family nearby, we almost always have extra space. AHS Classmates and some spouses Barb (Thielman) and Chuck White, Bette (Hollander) and John Imhoff, Shelly (Cohen) Phillips, and Peggy (Jacobi) and Carl Bonfiglio can all serve as references for the Norris site.
