I'll be in Appleton for the first time since the 25th reunion. Looking forward to it and catching up with everyone. We moved to Canada in 1966, where I had a very satisfying career as a professor/researcher in neuroscience at Carleton University in Ottawa Ontario. Married to my lovely wife, Nancy, for the past 43 years; we 'retired' to build a home on 100 acres still in the Ottawa city limits... oh yes, along with building ponds, seeding them with trout, watching the turkeys, deer and other wildlife right outside our window every evening. Still do lots of travelling to fish, and hunt at our cabin in the bush. Two of our three children still live in the area, and so we get to see our three lovely grandchildren every week. What more could one desire? Life has been good.

The last 50 years have been a gas. I went from Appleton High School to Carroll College, where I earned a BSc. then a Masters in Northern Illinois University. Then on for Ph.D. work in Canada, where we stayed for the past 44 years. Now enjoying "retirement" from a great career as a neuroscience researcher/professor at Carleton University in Ottawa. "Retirement" includes continuing with the science (supervising graduate students), building a home in the country and having a ball. OF COURSE, there is the occasional fishing trip and lots of time with my wife, 3 kids and their families, and three grandchildren.
