Wow 50yrs! Are we lucky or what. If I wasn't so old I'd remember what I've been doing these past 50 years. I'll give it a shot ...
College, service, and marriage. I married a beautiful gal, Mickey Vogt from the class of 64, AHS of course. We have 1 daughter Wendy, 2 sons Andy & Tim. We have 7 grandkids. 6 girls & 1 boy. I worked at American Can in the R&D area when I returned from active duty, I then worked worked at Giddings & Lewis in Kaukauna as an Ast. Plant Eng., I then went to Green Bay Foods as a Plant Eng., then moved to Lodi, WI. and managed the Lodi Canning Co. plant operations. We made one last move to New London, WI., and worked for Bemis/Curwood as a Plant Eng. and a Purchasing Manager. Now my wife and I are at our favorite jobs, RETIRMENT, and taking care of our 100 year old home.
Some of our favorite activities are, the house, acting & directing in community theatre, being with family & friends, traveling, cutting lawn, (please note shoveling snow does NOT appear here) watching my wifes flowers grow, riding my MC, sailing RC sailboats, building model boats & trains, leaning to fly my RC chopper( OK so I haven't grown up yet, but who is going to make me at this age) hunting & fishing, collecting & playing BIG Brass Horns, playing my euphonium, Playing in Tuba Christmas with my son Andy, reading (I founf out this is fun) writing, woodworking, hanging out at "The Lodge" (my brother hunting land) church groups, and the best.. watching the kids & grandkids grow up! Does it get any better!
So if you're ever in the area stop over, we have plenty of room and a big porch. I make a pretty darn good Old Fashion, and if I ever post a picture, you'll see Mic knows what she's doing in the kitchen.
